About Us
Our Honeysuckle childcare and preschool centre operates 50 weeks of the year from Monday to Friday, between 7.30am and 6.30pm.
We close for a two-week period over the Christmas period and public holidays during the year.
Our Newcastle long day care centres are designed to provide everything your child needs to explore, play, discover and grow in a safe and secure environment.
Our Honeysuckle centre provides care and education for up to 68 children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years.

- Our Snugglepots children are encouraged to explore, play and discover as they learn to interact with care, empathy and respect.
- We cater for different learning capacities and learning styles through flexible, open-ended learning environments that promote curiosity, cooperation and persistence.
- Children develop their emerging autonomy, inter-dependence, resilience and sense of agency as they take increasing responsibility for themselves, their health, and hygiene and begin to explore their world more independently.

I love the little bonds they have shared. I never thought I would see a bond as beautiful as the one Stella shared last year with Jade, until Chelsea! Stella walks around at home calling her, and she’s the first person she says whilst walking to her class. The way all the educators treat our children, I can’t even describe. I’ve never felt right about working and putting my kids in daycare until we came across The Little Unicorn!!!
I love the fact that I pick up my babies and they are always laughing or smiling and have had the absolute best day!
Conveniently located in the Honeysuckle Precinct at Newcastle, our long-day childcare centre caters for ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
Our Charlestown location offers long daycare and preschool services for children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years located in the heart of Charlestown Square.
