Meal times at The Little Unicorn are special, with a delicious and nutritious menu designed for nourishing growing little bodies and minds.
Food + Nutrition
We offer morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and snacks and drinks throughout the day to keep your little ones fueled for learning. All food is prepared on site with care by cook Natalie (Broadmeadow) and our qualified chef, Samantha (Honeysuckle). Natalie also holds a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care. We see food and nutrition both as essential for happy and healthy children, and as a great opportunity to encourage social and educational growth as we eat together and discuss the food on our plates.
We are experienced at working with children and families with a range of dietary requirements, including intolerances, cultural preferences, allergies and anaphylaxis. We provide prepare all foods within our service to ensure we provide a care environment that gives peace of mind to all parents.
Menus at our three centres rotate on a four-week cycle to provide variety and seasonal nutrition.
